Wild Acre, The Empire.

How the new empire came to be,

was simply by chance and impulse.

Sage had come across the ruins of Darkshire Castle, and had a strong urge to recreate this once beautiful castle. Upon impulse Sage immediately sought out her sister Mia. When she found her sister and told her of her idea, Mia was suddenly eager to be a part of the reconstruction.

The twins quickly realized that they alone would not be able to do this. After a few days of arguing with herself Mia finally called upon some one she thought could help.

Elminster.

He was a willing participant in the act. Mia knew though, that magic he would need to use would take quite the toll on him. With that knowledge she explained to Sage what needed to be done.

The girls approached Elminster within Darkshire, standing just beyond the circle he’d made in the middle of the ruins. Sage shifted uncomfortably as Mia held Sages mental defenses down, as well as her own to allow Elminster access to the girls energy, should he need it, as Mia was sure he would.

Before them, the circle was alight with energy that both the girls could plainly see, and the magical tome floating in front of Elminster, held by a separate energy. Elminster beckoned them into the circle. The girls moved with out thought and joined their hands with his, both Mia and Sage closing their eyes, and relaxing their bodies to allow the free flow of energy. The air around them was heavy, and to the girls it sounded as though Elminster’s tongue was as well. Mia never looked up, to watch the reconstruction. Sage focused only on the task at hand, while Mia was scheming, debating on trying something she’d thought of while she worked to give her own energy to the cause and keep all of the energy on the task at hand instead of splaying out wildly.

With this much magic in use it was hard to keep track of and give as much as she could to the spell as it worked. Though she could feel it working, the energy of renewed life around the kingdom, and moving objects about them. The brief moment that the three were not connected by their hands was when Elminster made it rain. Not water, but mana, replenishing the entire Kingdom with their energy, and mana.

Both girls had caught a glimpse of this glittering blue comforting rain. It was like the kiss of life on the land, as the foliage grew in a rush, and the essence of life around them grew even more powerful.

The terra was rich again and full of life.

Elminster had pushed himself to the absolute limit, just as the girls had done. And Wild Acre was now full of blossoming life, sparkling buildings that seemed alive themselves, and two very grateful women that the girls at least knew of, and one incredibly tired Elminster.

This magic had spread through out the entire empire, reconstructing damaged buildings, castles, homes, back to their original and natural state.

Slowly as they began to make this place their home, the people of the kingdom's of old returned. Their awe struck faces were the light of Sage and Mia's lives as they began the long process of rebuilding an economy, and a home for the once lost patrons of Wild Acre.
